The $500 Gaming Machine, 2007 Edition

Last year we assembled an entry-level gaming PC for as little as $500, and it did the job well. Our new machine at least doubles the performance of its predecessor, with a dual-core CPU, mainstream DirectX 10 graphics, lots of RAM, plenty of storage and a highly-efficient power supply. CPU possibilities include AMD or Intel devices.

The Simpsons Movie: a review

The new Simpsons movie. a return to classic simpsons humor. basic plot homer gets spider pig (I'm pretty everyone has seen the trailers so I won't go into detail) after disobeying the by law not to dump in lake springfield his dumpings of the pig crap silo cause the lake to become dead and fulfill grandpa's prophecy of doom in the church. the town is then sealed in a dome by the EPA. that's as far as I'll go for those of you that haven't seen the movie yet. it is quite funny and very heartwarming at times.

I guess she has seen the Directors Cut version of the Harry Potter movies

I have heard many bad things about these books and movies, there would be countless instances of witchcraft, cursing, brewing of drugs made by boiling alive babies pulled from the earth, sexual congress with goats and many more things not fit for young readers' and viewers' eyes, but what I found was much worse still than I had feared.

Michael Moore served subpoena by the Bush administration.

Michael Moore has been served a subpoena by the Bush Administration supposedly due to his going to Cuba during the filming Sicko. read the whole article before you comment. I personally found it absurd as he went to the gitmo base first then after they wouldn't help him went to a cuban hospital. To think that detainees at gitmo get better medical care than the average american is appauling but here it is all in print

Loose Change: a movie in review

This film which I recently saw really opened my mind to some thoughts. the evidence they present in favor of a 9/11 conspiracy by the US government is overwhelming. for example the hole in the pentagon was only 16 feet wide while a jumbo jet has a wingspan of 124 feet there were also no marks on the lawn where they say it bounced off before hitting the building and lastly there was no wreckage yet it has been scientifically proven that jet fuel could NOT burn hot enough to vaporize the plane as claimed. I'll let you decide for yourself if you believe the conspiracy or not

A man who purchased the domain thesimpsonsmovie.com has been ordered by a UN agency to turn it over to Fox who owns the copyright to the simpsons names and likenesses. They say he was cybersquatting despite the fact he owned the domain for almost 8 years oh well I'll let my blog readers decide for themselves

Sicko: a movie in review

I recently viewed the new Michael Moore film entitled Sicko. First off I'll start by saying that this is following in the vein of his previous work such as bowling for columbine. he goes in and exposes the US health care system for the cashgrab it is. he shows how people that need life saving surgeries are denied because it is too costly for the insurance company. This was another fine social commentary and after seeing the true mess that there is in the US it makes proud to be a Canadian. nothing more can be said just go see it and really really think hard on if America truly is the land of the free

The movie was leaked and is available as a DVD quality rip on bit torrent
